Serious Traffic Accident Closes Malchow Damm, Injures Several
A serious traffic accident in Alt-Hohenschönhausen has led to the closure of the Malchow Damm and injuries to several people. A 29-year-old driver ended up in the opposite lane, colliding with a 70-year-old woman's car. The accident occurred on the Malchow Damm, requiring its complete closure for investigation. A specialized traffic offenses commission from Police Directorate 3 (East) is currently looking into the cause of the incident. The 29-year-old driver sustained injuries but was treated as an outpatient. The collision affected the BVG bus line 256, causing disruptions to public transport. The 70-year-old woman, who was driving the other car, suffered skin abrasions and severe upper body pain. She, along with her 50-year-old passenger and an 8-year-old child, were all admitted to a hospital for further treatment. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
