Serious Traffic Accident in Köpenick Injures Moped Rider
Yesterday afternoon, a serious traffic accident occurred in Köpenick. A 52-year-old woman driving a Renault and a 46-year-old man on a moped were involved. The woman's identity remains unknown.
The incident happened as the woman was leaving a gas station. Turning left onto the Oberspreestraße, her Renault collided with the moped rider. The man sustained multiple injuries and was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Specialist Commission for Traffic Offenses of Police Directorate 3 (East) has taken up the investigation. They aim to determine the cause of the accident and assign responsibility.
