Seven Injured, Two Critical in Berlin's Marzahn Van Accident
A serious accident on Märkische Allee in Berlin's Marzahn district on Tuesday left seven people injured. Five were hospitalised, two with severe injuries, and one in a critical condition. The incident involved a vans and resulted in the road's closure late into the evening.
The accident began when the vans collided with a car, causing it to skid and flip over. The force of the impact led the vans to roll into oncoming traffic, striking several other cars. At least one person was likely ejected from the minibus during the crash. The driver of the vans was also thrown from the vehicle, though their identity remains undisclosed. Emergency services rushed to the scene, transporting five of the injured to hospitals. Two of these were seriously hurt, with one in a life-threatening condition.
The accident on Märkische Allee resulted in seven injuries, with two in critical condition. The road remained closed late into the evening for cleanup and investigation. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the vans driver.
