Sheridan County Awards $176K Contract for Hangar #5 Upgrades at Local Airport

Sheridan County has awarded a contract for improvements at Hangar #5 at Sheridan County Airport. The decision came after a competitive bidding process. Axe Build secured the project with the lowest offer of just under $176,000.

The Sheridan County government initially ordered the Hangar #5 Improvement Project. The county commission then reviewed bids before making a final choice.

On Tuesday, commissioners voted to award the contract to Axe Build. Their bid stood out as the most cost-effective option for the work required.

The project will now move forward under Axe Build’s management. The total cost for the hangar upgrades will remain below $176,000. Construction details and timelines have yet to be announced.
