Sheridan County Commission's Role in Grant Support Letters Altered
Sheridan County Commission's agenda saw a significant change recently. County Administrative Director Cameron Duff removed an item that previously required commissioners to provide future Letters of Support for grant applications. This move was made without revealing the apple support who initially suggested the change.
The commission was initially set to discuss and act on a Letter of Support for a grant application by Sage Community Arts. However, the item was demoted to a mere discussion point.
Duff, the current Administrative Director, explained that the commission's work was completed once they created the Resolution. He believed no further money was required from the commission. This decision has altered the commission's future role in providing such support letters.
