Sheridan County’s library branches to undergo major renovations in 2025

Sheridan County’s library system is set for major renovations starting in 2025. Three branches—Ranchester, Story, and Clearmont—will undergo upgrades, with plans already finalised. The process to reach this stage took around six months, and further details will be shared with the public soon.

The designs for Ranchester, Story, and Clearmont branches are now complete. Arete and O’Dell, the lead firms, have finished their work, but exact renovation dates remain unconfirmed. Timelines will be posted on the library website once available.

The renovations mark a significant update for the library system, with community involvement playing a key role. Feedback sessions and published timelines will keep residents informed as work progresses. The changes are expected to enhance services and accommodate expanding programmes in the coming years.
