Berlin's Steglitz district experienced a shooting incident today, with an unknown assailant targeting a 58-year-old man's car. The attack transpired around 1 p.m. on Hindenburgdamm, near Schlossstraße.
The shooter, who remains at large, fled the scene on foot towards Geranienstraße following the incident. The 58-year-old driver sustained a minor neck injury but declined medical treatment. Police swiftly closed Hindenburgdamm between Schlossstraße and Geranienstraße for investigation, lasting from 1:30 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. Detectives from Precinct 4 (South Division) are currently investigating the reason behind the shooting, with Incident No. 0341 logged for the case.
