Shooting in Berlin's Steglitz: Man Injured, Suspect at Large

Berlin's Steglitz district experienced a shooting incident today, with an unknown assailant targeting a 58-year-old man's car. The attack transpired around 1 p.m. on Hindenburgdamm, near Schlossstraße.

The shooter, who remains at large, fled the scene on foot towards Geranienstraße following the incident. The 58-year-old driver sustained a minor neck injury but declined medical treatment. Police swiftly closed Hindenburgdamm between Schlossstraße and Geranienstraße for investigation, lasting from 1:30 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. Detectives from Precinct 4 (South Division) are currently investigating the reason behind the shooting, with Incident No. 0341 logged for the case.

The search for the shooter continues, with no further details on the motive or the identity of the assailant. Anyone with information is urged to contact local law enforcement.
