There are group of people holding placards and walking. These are the trees. I can see small bushes. This is the banner. I can see a building with name boards attached to it. These look like cars. I think these are the current polls.

Sindelsdorf’s Independent Voters Back Incumbent Mayor for Re-election

The Independent Voters’ Group (UWS) in Sindelsdorf has finalised its list of candidates for the upcoming local election. After careful consideration, the group chose to back incumbent Mayor Andreas Obermaier (CSU) for a second term. They cited his strong performance and a lack of stronger alternatives as key reasons for their decision.

Klaus Lantenhammer, chair of the UWS, expressed satisfaction with the final slate. He highlighted that the current council had consistently acted in the village’s best interests, working across party lines. Lantenhammer himself secured two positions on the list, alongside fellow sitting councillor Peter Gastager, to prevent any votes from being wasted.

The UWS will now move forward with its 10-candidate list, all elected individually. Their decision to back Obermaier and maintain a broad range of council members reflects confidence in the current administration. The election will determine whether the village continues under the same leadership or shifts direction.
