Singapore Airlines commits to a prolonged cooperation with Safran for A380 aircraft components in the Asia-Pacific region.
Singapore Airlines and Safran Electrical & Power have announced a renewed partnership, marking a continuation of their longstanding relationship. The seven-year component maintenance contract, signed during the Aviation Week MRO Asia-Pacific 2025 event in Singapore, covers the Airbus A380 fleet of Singapore Airlines.
Alvin Liew, vice president of strategic sourcing at Singapore Airlines, expressed his pleasure in continuing their work with Safran Electrical & Power. Liew highlighted the airline's confidence in Safran's technical expertise, as well as their trust in the operational reliability of Safran's services.
Amans Defossez, vice president of customer support and services at Safran Electrical & Power, echoed Liew's sentiments, expressing confidence in the depth of their relationship with Singapore Airlines. Defossez also noted that the renewed agreement aims to enhance operational performance and optimize lifecycle costs.
The contract is based on Safran's global support infrastructure and includes an option for a further five-year extension. Safran Electrical & Power is proud to continue supporting Singapore Airlines with tailored solutions, providing component support services for the Airbus A380 fleet.
