Skoda Dealers Embrace Bezahl.de for Faster Digital Payments in Europe

The Association of German Skoda Contract Partners (VDS) has begun recommending its dealerships use the digital payment platform Bezahl.de. This move aims to speed up digital transformation across Skoda's retailer network. The partnership promises to simplify financial processes for over 2,000 dealerships in Europe already using the system.

Since December, the VDS has advised its members to adopt Bezahl.de for handling online payments. The platform supports full automation, covering everything from invoicing to accounting. It also provides real-time mobile payments, flexible installment plans, and smooth integration with existing dealer management (DMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

The solution can be tailored to match a dealership's branding, acting as a white-label service. VDS Chairman Thomas Peckruhn expects the shift to bring major efficiency improvements. While the exact number of German Skoda dealers currently using Bezahl.de remains undisclosed, the association is pushing for wider adoption.

Aufinity Group, the company behind Bezahl.de, views the collaboration as a significant business opportunity. The platform already processes over €10 billion in transactions annually across its European network. The VDS plans to roll out the system gradually, aiming to enhance transparency and streamline daily operations for its members.

The partnership between VDS and Bezahl.de marks a step toward modernising Skoda's dealership operations. Dealers adopting the platform will gain access to faster, more transparent online payment workflows. The long-term goal is to create a fully digitised payment system across the entire retailer network.
