Accident involving winter service vehicle causes traffic chaos - Snowplow and city bus crash snarls Munich traffic for hours
A collision between a city bus and a snowplow caused major traffic problems in Munich on Monday. The crash happened in the Freimann district.
The incident began when a snowplow attempted to make a turn on Freisinger Landstraße. A line of vehicles had formed behind it as it carried out snow-clearing work. The bus driver then tried to overtake the snowplow but sideswiped it during the turn.
The accident disrupted traffic for hours, with drivers facing long delays. The injured snowplow operator remains under medical care while repairs assess the damage. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
