Sochi Crisis Center Shortlisted for Russia's Top Municipal Service Award
Sochi's Nechayannaya Radost Multifunctional Social Crisis Center has been named a finalist for the Service to the Nation award at the 3rd All-Russian Municipal Prize. The center, which supports families with children, large households, and people in difficult life situations, was chosen from over 63,000 applications submitted across Russia.
The award is organized by the All-Russian Association for Local Self-Government Development, with backing from the Russian Presidential Administration. Among the 110 shortlisted projects, 28 come from regions with populations exceeding 5 million. Public voting for the finalists remains open on the Gosuslugi portal until April 6.
Beyond crisis support, the center partners with the Sochi Diocese to run sessions for schoolchildren. These meetings focus on spiritual and moral values, as well as family traditions.
The winners will be announced on April 21 during the 3rd All-Russian Municipal Forum, Malaia Rodina – Silá Rossii.
The recognition highlights the center's role in assisting vulnerable groups across Sochi. Final results will follow public voting and the upcoming award ceremony. The event forms part of a broader forum celebrating local governance achievements.
