Solingen traffic lights to undergo evening maintenance on April 23
Solingen – On Thursday, April 23, maintenance work will be carried out on the traffic light system at the barrier. According to the city's Technical Services (TBS), the work is scheduled from 8:00 PM to approximately 11:00 PM.
Maintenance During Low-Traffic Hours
The work has been deliberately planned for the evening to minimize disruption to traffic. Experience shows that traffic volumes are significantly lower at this time, helping to avoid major delays.
Restrictions and Potential Closures
During the maintenance, the traffic lights will need to be temporarily taken out of service. For safety reasons, there may also be short-term lane closures. Motorists are advised to drive with extra caution in this area and allow for possible delays.
The Technical Services have asked for the public's understanding, emphasizing that the work is essential for the long-term safety and functionality of the traffic system.
