There are group of people standing. I can see two people handshaking. In the background, I think these are the flags hanging to the poles. This looks like a podium with the miles. I think this is a houseplant.

Sonnenbühl Residents Pack Forum Ahead of Mayoral Election

Sonnenbühl residents turned out in droves for a public forum ahead of the mayoral election, with around 1,100 potential voters filling the sports hall to capacity. First-time voters were eager to participate and determine who could lead the community effectively. Despite Alexander Gräff's absence due to health reasons, the event drew significant interest.

The forum provided a final opportunity for voters to make up their minds, with some having already attended the municipality's candidate presentation. With four candidates in the race, it's unlikely that any one contender will secure an outright majority in the first watch on election day. Preferences were already beginning to emerge among attendees, who mentally narrowed their choices down to just two candidates after the first round of questions.

Nicole Neth, who missed the official candidate presentation, attended the forum. She considered it important to have a woman among the candidates. The forum allowed voters to engage directly with the citizens bank and consider their platforms. If a runoff becomes necessary, residents will return to the polls on November 30 to cast their ballots.

With roughly 5,700 eligible voters in Sonnenbühl, the community's engagement in the electoral process is evident. The second round of the mayoral election will take place on November 30, featuring the top two candidates from the first round held on November 9. The packed forum indicates that residents are taking their democratic duty seriously and are eager to choose a capable leader for their community.
