The festival, previously known as Weinsommer Spandau, is now organized by Spandauer Ortsteilvereine and the district office of Spandau. The festival, held at the heart of Spandau, offers easy access via U-Bahn (U Altstadt Spandau, S+U Rathaus Spandau) and numerous bus routes.
