Collision on wet road B3 - two injured - Speed and rain cause violent two-car crash on Federal Highway 3

Two drivers, a 21-year-old male and a 36-year-old female, were injured in a collision on Federal Highway 3 south of Hildesheim. The younger driver was airlifted to a hospital in Hildesheim, while the older driver was taken to a hospital in Gronau. The severity of their injuries is currently unknown.

The accident occurred between Alfeld and Delligsen, with the 21-year-old's car colliding with the 36-year-old's vehicle. The force of the impact caused the younger driver to lose control of his car due to excessive speed on a rain-slicked road. Both vehicles spun and came to rest facing the wrong direction, striking a guardrail in the process. The police from Alfeld and the public prosecutor's office in Hildesheim are investigating the incident.

The collision on Federal Highway 3 left two drivers injured, with their conditions currently unknown. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, which occurred due to excessive speed and slippery road conditions.
