SPM 2025 exams begin amid floods as MOE ensures no student is left behind
The SPM 2025 written examinations have begun today with over 413,000 students sitting their first papers. As floods continue to affect parts of the country, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has activated emergency measures to ensure no candidate misses their tests due to the disaster.
The day started with Bahasa Melayu Paper 1 at 8.15am, followed by Pendidikan Seni Visual - Teori Seni Paper 1 at 11.45am, and Bahasa Melayu Paper 2 at 2.30pm. With floodwaters disrupting travel in some regions, the MOE has arranged alternative examination centres, special transport, and temporary accommodation for affected students.
The SPM 2025 examinations are proceeding despite flood challenges across the country. Emergency arrangements, including transport and temporary housing, will continue to ensure students can reach their test centres. The MOE’s monitoring and support efforts will continue throughout the examination period.
