Sredneuralsk Opens First Adaptive Center for Veterans on November 14
Sredneuralsk's first adaptive center for veterans of the special military operation and local conflicts is set to open on November 14. The center, a result of local veterans' and volunteers' efforts, has undergone renovation with the municipality providing an 800-square-meter classroom. It will commence operations with various classes and events.
Renovation work began in 2024, with the center now equipped with a gym and a psychological counseling room to aid veterans' rehabilitation. It also includes a children's playroom and plans for creative workshops focusing on patriotic education for children. The center will host cultural and sports events, and volunteers from the Maskirovka Z movement will be present, contributing to the production of thermal camouflage ponchos and blankets for troops.
The center's establishment was made possible through donations of construction materials and equipment from sponsors and concerned citizens. Veterans and their families played a significant role in the refurbishment process.
