St. Ingbert Reappoints Boris Nicolai as Disability Commissioner
St. Ingbert's city council has reappointed Boris Nicolai as the municipal disability commissioner. Nicolai, who has been active since 2020, is praised for his commitment to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities in the city. Mayor Dr. Ulli Meyer wished him continued success in his role.
Nicolai, also a Para-Boccia athlete, has represented Germany at the Paralympics. Despite missing the council meeting due to a sporting event, he had agreed to continue in his position. The council also appointed Jasmin Neger as his deputy, who has been supporting Nicolai since 2020. Together, they aim to further develop coexistence in the city and break down barriers. Nicolai acts as a link between the administration, city committees, and citizens with disabilities, advising on their concerns and working to enhance their participation, accessibility, and equality.
