Stada Appoints Tomas Mihal as New Head of German Operations
Stada has appointed Tomas Mihal as the new head of its German operations. The 45-year-old environmental engineer, who previously led the company's Czech business, brings extensive international experience to the role.
Mihal, who has been overseeing Stada's German business since November as a member of the global leadership team, will now lead all European business divisions. CEO Peter Goldschmidt welcomed the appointment, highlighting Mihal's 'passionate leadership' and 'extensive international experience'.
Mihal, who previously worked for Stada until three years ago, has a career spanning roles at Sanofi and Sandoz. He also spent three years at Glenmark as Vice President and Regional Business Head for the Asia-Pacific region. In his new role, Mihal is tasked with strengthening the market position of Stada's three business divisions. He emphasized Germany’s role as a ‘key growth driver with significant potential’ for the company.
Appointed in the midst of Stada's strong growth in its specialty medicines segment, with currency-adjusted revenue rising by 6% in the first half of 2025, Mihal's leadership is expected to further boost the company's performance in the German market and across Europe.
