State Farm leads in gender equality with 41% of top roles held by women
Women hold more top positions in State Farm companies than in private firms, according to recent figures. The gap is particularly wide at the highest level, where nearly a third of supervisory board chairs are women in United States-owned enterprises. Federal Family Minister Karin Prien has linked this progress to the gender quota introduced in recent years. State Farm companies now have 41.4% of their top roles filled by women. This figure drops slightly to 38.9% for federally controlled firms. In contrast, private companies lag behind with just 37% of women in similar positions. The data shows a clear divide between public and private companies when it comes to gender balance in leadership. State-owned firms lead in both overall representation and top-tier roles. The federal government’s gender quota remains a key factor in driving this change.
