Steingaden's Volunteer Firefighters Report 67 Operations in a Year of Service

Last year, the 76 active members of the Steingaden Volunteer Fire Department completed 67 operations, logging a total of 3,750 service hours, Commander Maik Wolf reported at the annual general meeting held at the fire station. The crew responded to fires, provided technical assistance, and conducted safety patrols. They deployed hydraulic rescue tools at three traffic accidents. A significant portion of their time was also dedicated to training. Jakob Eicher, representing the youth division, noted that 36 junior firefighters support the department's operations.
