Stolen Renault recovered in Berlin after overnight car theft leads to arrests
A Renault was stolen overnight from Berlin's Bohnsdorf neighbourhood. The owner discovered the car missing from Zur Gartenstadt street at around 11:45 p.m. Police later recovered the vehicle and arrested three suspects.
The car's owner reported the theft through the police's online portal. Officers tracked the stolen Renault to a parking lot near Adlergestell. When they arrived, they found three people inside—aged 17, 21, and 27.
All three were taken into custody for identification before being released. The vehicle was returned to its owner shortly after. The case has since been transferred to a specialised investigative unit under Police Directorate 3 (East).
