Student’s Stork Monument Wins Russia’s Architecture of Memory Contest

In Ufa, a student from Khabarovsk District, Lyudmila Yurkina, won the second national Architecture of Memory competition. Her winning design, a monument of a soaring stork, was presented at the Third All-Russian Guardians of History rally, celebrating the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Over 500 participants from across Russia joined the rally, which was organized by the All-Russian Firsts movement. Yurkina's winning entry in the Unity Is Strength category depicted a noble stork rising into the sky, symbolizing peace, life, and a hopeful future.

The Architecture of Memory competition finale was held during the rally. Despite the search, no information was found about an 'All-Russischen Wachen der Geschichte-Rallye' or the competition finale, making it unclear which organization hosted the event.
