Südkurier Welcomes Isabelle Arndt as New Head of Konstanz Local Editorial Team

Südkurier's Konstanz local editorial team welcomes Isabelle Arndt as its new head. Arndt, 35, succeeds Jörg-Peter Rau, who continues as an author and chief reporter. The team includes Julia Sondermann, Kirsten Astor, Sven Frommhold, Holger Niederberger, Aurelia Scherrer, Moritz Stein, Simon Wörhle as editors, and Barbara Birkle assisting readers.

Rau, a veteran journalist, led the Konstanz local editorial team from 2007 to 2018 and again since 2023. Arndt, who previously served as editor-in-chief for the online platform covering the Singen-Radolfzell-Stockach region, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She made her first major career leap three and a half years ago, taking on a leadership role at Südkurier's online platform.

Arndt's journey in journalism began with a BOGY internship at the Überlingen local editorial office during her studies in Literature, Art, and Media at the University of Konstanz. She completed a two-year traineeship to become an editor at Südkurier and joined the local news desk thereafter. Arndt is excited to write about fascinating topics and meet inspiring people in her new role. Stefan Lutz, Editor-in-Chief, underscores the publication's commitment to regional journalism with this change in leadership.

Isabelle Arndt takes the helm of Südkurier's Konstanz local editorial team, succeeding Jörg-Peter Rau. With her extensive experience and passion for journalism, Arndt is well-positioned to lead the team in delivering high-quality regional news. The team looks forward to continuing its commitment to strong local journalism under Arndt's leadership.
