Sun Group reshapes Vietnam’s tourism with billion-dollar projects and global partnerships

Sun Group, established in 2007, has made significant strides in Vietnam's tourism landscape. With projects across Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt, Hanoi, Da Nang, and other cities, the group has transformed emerging destinations into notable tourism centres. Recently, Sun Group signed a MoU with Emirates to boost inbound tourism.

Sun Group's impact is evident in its urban development projects. In Quang Tri, the group launched three projects worth $1.44 billion. Their transformative approach has been recognised, with awards such as the Inspirational Brand at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEAs).

The group's influence extends to aviation. Sun PhuQuoc Airways, backed by Sun Group, has secured approval to operate commercial flights. This will further connect Vietnam's destinations and boost tourism.

Sun Group's projects have revitalised destinations and created jobs. Landmarks like the Golden Bridge in Danang and the Kiss Bridge in Phu Quoc have attracted visitors and raised Vietnam's international profile. Looking ahead, Sun Group plans to expand Phu Quoc International Airport and renovate the Hanoi Grand Opera House by 2025.

Sun Group's contributions have been instrumental in positioning Vietnam as a dynamic travel market. With upcoming projects and a commitment to innovation, the group continues to shape Vietnam's tourism future.
