Sverdlovsk Oblast Residents to Work Six Days Straight for Extra Income
Residents of Sverdlovsk Oblast will work six consecutive days from October 27 to November 1, with Saturday being a shorter workday. This decision, made by local authorities, aims to boost productivity and income during this work period.
During these six workdays, municipal and emergency services will maintain their regular schedules, ensuring essential services continue uninterrupted. The extended workweek comes as a relief to many residents, as nearly 80% struggle to meet their financial needs with their main salaries alone. To supplement their incomes, residents often take on side jobs, earning an extra 10,000 to 50,000 rubles. After the six-day work stretch, residents will enjoy a break from November 2 to 4.
The extended workweek in Sverdlovsk Oblast provides an opportunity for residents to earn extra income and tackle their financial challenges. Following the six-day work period, a well-deserved break awaits.
