Sverdlovsk Region invests 3.3 billion rubles in youth and patriotic education by 2030
The Sverdlovsk Region has launched a major state programme to support youth engagement and patriotic education. Governor Denis Pasler approved the initiative, which will run until 2030 with a total budget of 3.3 billion rubles. The funding will back projects run by government and non-profit groups across the region.
The programme aligns with Russia’s national Youth and Children project. It will provide grants to socially focused organisations and finance events aimed at young people. Over 200 local youth groups in the Sverdlovsk Region are expected to benefit.
The new programme will channel funds into youth development and patriotic education over the next six years. Organisations across the Sverdlovsk Region will receive resources to run events, forums, and training schemes. The first phase of funding begins in 2026.
