Sverdlovsk Region launches official cultural updates on Max messaging app
The Sverdlovsk Region Ministry of Culture has launched an official channel on the Max messaging app. This move aims to connect residents with the latest updates on cultural life across the area. The platform will share news about festivals, exhibitions, and major events taking place in the region.
The new channel will cover a wide range of cultural activities. This includes updates from institutions, tours, and significant events. It will also provide announcements for upcoming projects and initiatives supported by the ministry.
In 2023, over 1,200 cultural venues and events in the Sverdlovsk Region were promoted or documented through the Max platform. The region was recognised as one of the top three most active participants in the Russian Ministry of Culture's 'Culture for Everyone' campaign. Residents frequently used digital IDs to access free or discounted visits to cultural sites. Ilya Markov, the region's culture minister, highlighted the importance of using modern digital tools to engage with the public. The initiative aligns with the broader goals of the Family national project, which encourages cultural participation. Additionally, the Sverdlovsk Regional Housing and Utilities Ministry has also launched its own official channel on Max.
The new channel will serve as a central hub for cultural news in the Sverdlovsk Region. Residents can now access real-time updates on events, projects, and ministry activities. The platform strengthens the region's commitment to digital engagement in cultural promotion.
