Sverdlovsk Region ramps up heating season checks as winter nears
Governor Denis Pasler chaired a meeting of the Sverdlovsk Region Government on November 13. The gathering addressed several pressing issues, including utility failures and heating season preparations.
Governor Pasler tasked Alexey Orlov to investigate and resolve utility failures in a residential building in Ekaterinburg’s Akademichesky District. Meanwhile, final inspections were conducted in six municipalities, including Alapayevsk, Verkhnyaya Tura, and Berezovsky, to ensure their heating supply plans were in order.
In a follow-up inspection on November 14, these three towns were re-examined due to their unique infrastructure conditions. The goal was to guarantee reliable heating during the cold months. Across the region, 79 out of 87 municipalities have already received readiness certificates for the heating season, with the rest expected to follow suit soon.
In other news, the Housing Construction Fund has allocated 965 apartments for orphans across various municipalities by 2025. Additionally, by the end of the year, another 305 orphans will receive new homes, and 409 will be issued housing certificates. The heating season in the Sverdlovsk Region is progressing smoothly, with heat supplied on schedule across all municipalities.
