SWR’s *Moments 2025* Revisits the Year’s Most Unforgettable Stories on December 26
A new year-in-review programme, titled Moments 2025: The SWR Year in Review, will showcase the most memorable events from 2025 across Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland. The show will present around 70 standout stories when it airs on December 26 at 6:00 PM on SWR Television.
The programme, hosted by Michael Leupold, will reflect on key moments from the past year. Among the featured stories is the work of Dettingen’s Ermstal Helps association, which has provided support to those affected by Russia’s war of aggression.
The small town of Dettingen will also appear in two other broadcasts. On December 25 at 4:00 PM, a repeat of Festive Leftovers Kitchen—Waste Not! will show chef Stephan Schlecht preparing creative dishes from Christmas leftovers. Later, on January 3 at 9:50 PM, the TV movie The Undertaker will highlight the town’s scenic beauty. All three programmes will be available to stream in the ARD Media Library shortly after their original broadcasts.
The year-in-review special will air on SWR Television on December 26. Viewers can also catch Dettingen in two additional programmes over the festive period. Both the cooking show and the TV movie will be accessible online after their scheduled broadcasts.
