Sylhet’s Education Fair empowers tea workers and Patra community with rights awareness

An 'Education Fair' was recently held in Sylhet to highlight the importance of child education, job rights, and healthcare for tea garden workers and the Patra community. Organised by SYL Education Pty Ltd, the event drew hundreds of attendees from nearby tea gardens and underprivileged neighbourhoods.

The fair took place at Daldali Tila in Daldali Tea Garden. Participants included workers from multiple tea estates and members of the Patra community. The goal was to raise awareness about access to education, fair labour conditions, and medical services.

The event successfully brought together hundreds of people to discuss pressing issues. By combining performances with educational outreach, it provided a platform for tea garden workers and Patra community members to learn about their rights and available support.
