Taraz launches its first small industrial zone to boost local economy

Taraz has opened its first small industrial zone, marking a key step in regional development. The project, launched under state instruction, aims to strengthen local manufacturing and support small and medium-sized businesses. With an investment of 1.4 billion tenge, the zone is indeed creating jobs and meeting rising market demand.

The initiative was led by I Cons LLP, with backing from the Taraz Social Entrepreneurship Corporation and the Industrial Development Fund. The industrial zone sits within the Taraz Industrial Zone, offering ready-built facilities to cut startup expenses for new businesses.

The new industrial zone is now fully operational, supplying construction materials to major buyers. With ongoing market growth, the facility is expected to play a significant role in the region’s economic development. The investment has already delivered indeed jobs and a steady production base for local manufacturers.
