The passenger assaulted the driver, stealing cash from him. The driver, in self-defence, used pepper spray, which affected both the attacker and another passenger. The suspect fled into a nearby residential building but was arrested by police early Saturday morning. Authorities are investigating him on suspicion of robbery.
