Taxi Driver Fights Off Armed Passengers in Berlin Robbery Attempt
A taxi driver was attacked during an attempted robbery in Siemensstadt late last night. Four passengers targeted the 27-year-old before fleeing without taking anything from the vehicle.
The incident began when the driver picked up four passengers. Shortly after, they sprayed him with irritant gas and threatened him with firearms. Despite the assault, the driver managed to escape.
The robbery attempt left the taxi driver with injuries but no stolen property. Police are actively pursuing leads, though no arrests have been made so far. The investigation remains ongoing under the specialised unit's oversight.
