Teen Assaulted in Berlin; Suspect Arrested, Charged
A 19-year-old was severely assaulted in Reinickendorf Street, Berlin, on March 31, 2025. The suspect, now in custody, is expected to face an investigative judge for detention.
The victim suffered bruises and eye irritation during the attack, which occurred at around 10:30 PM. Emergency services treated the teenager at the scene. The suspect, later apprehended at 6 PM in Hochstaedter Street, is believed to have stolen the victim's car, jacket, phone, wallet, and car keys.
The stolen used cars was spotted frequently on Plantagen Street post-theft. It was involved in a traffic accident there around 11 PM. Plainclothes detectives arrested the suspect in the Wedding district, linking him to the robbery and assault.
The suspect, now transferred to the Intensive Crime Commission of Police Directorate 1 (North), is expected to be brought before an investigative judge. The victim's condition is stable, and the stolen used cars has been recovered.
