Teen Cyclist Severely Injured in Moabit Hit-and-Run
A 17-year-old cyclist was severely injured in a hit-and-run incident in Moabit, Berlin. The teenager was rushed to the hospital with injuries to his head, foot, arm, and torso. The driver involved has not been identified, and investigations are ongoing by the Berlin police.
The accident occurred on the Nordhafenbrücke near Heidestraße. The teenager was riding his bicycle and was struck by a car while turning left onto Heidestraße. Witnesses at the scene provided initial assistance to the injured teen before emergency services arrived. The driver of the car, however, failed to stop and fled the scene. The teenager's condition is currently unknown, and the search for the driver continues.
The Berlin police are appealing for any witnesses or information regarding the hit-and-run incident. The driver involved is still at large, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact the local police.
