Tractor crashes into garage - Damage over 51,000 euros - Teen driver crashes tractor into garage, causing over €51,000 in damage
An 18-year-old driver was injured in a tractor accident on Monday afternoon in the Rostock district. The crash caused extensive damage to a garage, several parked cars, and nearby property, with repair costs exceeding €51,000.
The incident happened as the driver attempted to turn from State Road 201 onto Neu Pannekow Street. The tractor veered off course, first crushing a telecom utility box before smashing through a fence and hedge. It then collided with a garage, destroying parts of the structure and damaging multiple vehicles inside and outside.
The young driver escaped with minor injuries, including scrapes on her arms, but went into shock. Police reports highlight that inattention, excessive speed, and failure to yield are among the leading causes of traffic accidents in the region. In Vienna alone, these factors accounted for over 70% of fatal crashes in 2025.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the driver received medical treatment for her injuries. The total cost of the damage has been estimated at more than €51,000. Authorities continue to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident.
