Teen Suspect Identified After Spitting Assault at Tübingen Train Station
A 44-year-old Brazilian woman was assaulted at Tübingen train station on Tuesday evening. The attack occurred at around 5:00 PM on Platform 1, where a 17-year-old suspect spat in her face. Federal police have since launched an investigation into the incident.
The victim was waiting for her train when the assault took place. She immediately reported the incident to the Tübingen Federal Police station. Officers conducted an initial search but were unable to locate the suspect at the scene.
Using a photograph provided by the victim, authorities later identified the 17-year-old. The suspect is now under investigation for assault. No public records indicate how many similar incidents with matching patterns have been documented by the Bundespolizeiinspektion Tübingen in the past five years.
