Teenager dies after tragic fourth-floor fall in Berlin apartment
A 17-year-old German boy died in a tragic accident on Friday evening. According to current findings, the teenager fell from a fourth-floor window of his father's apartment in a multi-family building on Hildesheimer Straße at around 9:20 p.m.
He suffered severe injuries and was rushed to a city hospital by emergency services, where he died shortly afterward. The parents of the deceased were supported by crisis intervention teams. Homicide detectives launched an immediate investigation.
There is currently no evidence to suggest that the fall was linked to any criminal act. Investigations into the exact circumstances are ongoing.
