Teenagers vandalize Freiburg schoolyard in late-night graffiti attack
A group of teenagers vandalised a schoolyard in Freiburg-Haslach on Sunday evening. Police arrived to find spray-painted tables and a canister left behind. Officers are now investigating the incident as criminal damage.
The incident took place at around 6:45 p.m. on March 29, 2026. About 15 young people were seen on Staudingerstraße, where they spray-painted graffiti on tables in the schoolyard. One of them carried a blue canister, while another table was covered in yellow paint.
When police approached, the group fled toward a nearby sports field. Freiburg-South police station has since launched an inquiry into the damage. The full extent of the harm caused remains unclear. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
