Tesla's Cybercab Nears Production as Crash Testing Concludes

Tesla's Cybercab, the electric vehicle giant's first dedicated robotaxi, is nearing the final stages of validation. Recent crash testing at Giga Texas signals that production could start within the next one to two months, mirroring the timeline of the Cybertruck.

Spotted for the first time at Tesla's Fremont factory, a Cybercab prototype was undergoing active validation of both hardware and software systems. If the Cybercab maintains its current pace, pre-production builds could begin before the year's end, aligning with Elon Musk's previous comments about a 2026 production start.

At Giga Texas, preparations for Cybercab manufacturing validation are underway. Recent equipment deliveries and installations suggest that the facility is gearing up for production. The Cybercab prototypes have been spotted testing at both the Fremont factory and Giga Texas' crash testing facility, indicating rapid advancement towards production readiness.

While there's no official word on when the test operation of the Tesla Cybercab will begin in a demonstration, the Cybercab is expected to operate without a steering wheel or pedals, marking a significant step towards autonomous driving. With production potentially starting within the next one to two months, Tesla's robotaxi future is edging closer to reality.
