The PIE Honoured for Gender Diversity Leadership

The PIE, a leading global platform for international education professionals, has been recognised for its commitment to gender diversity and inclusivity. Hadil El-Agami, head of The PIE's Executive Search division, was honoured at the Lead5050 Awards for her significant contribution to the industry.

Based in South London with a team of 32 staff working across global locations, The PIE was founded by Jane Gilham, Amy Baker, and Clare Gossage with a vision to create a global media and jobs platform. Today, it attracts 4 million visitors annually, with an average of 500,000 visitors each month.

The company champions flexible working and inclusivity, providing a supportive and adaptable environment for its team. This commitment to diversity has been recognised beyond its own walls. El-Agami's leadership in promoting gender equality in the industry was acknowledged at the Lead5050 Awards. Additionally, Rachel Donnellan, The PIE's events director, was nominated for outstanding departmental manager.

The PIE's impact extends to the industry at large. Gilham, Baker, and Gossage were recognised at the same awards for their contributions to the international education sector. The PIEoneer Awards, a cornerstone of the industry calendar, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2026.

The PIE's commitment to gender diversity and inclusivity, both within its own team and the wider industry, has been recognised and celebrated. As it continues to grow and attract millions of visitors each year, The PIE remains a powerful force in the international education sector.
