Thomas Düring takes office in Waldkirch after September election win

His first task was attending the council’s latest meeting that same day. Düring secured his position on the town council on September 28, 2025. The election results confirmed his appointment as a successor to Sommer, who had previously held the seat. Düring now oversees both council duties and the town’s cultural and leisure services.
