Three Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs awarded the title 'Honored Entrepreneur'
Three business leaders in Nizhny Novgorod have received the prestigious title of Honored Businessperson of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. The award recognises their long-term contributions to regional growth, job creation, and investment. Governor Gleb Nikitin presented the honours during a session of the regional Legislative Assembly.
The title is a lifelong distinction given to entrepreneurs with at least ten years of business activity in the region. It highlights achievements in small and medium-sized enterprises, investment projects, product quality, and regional promotion. Since 2021, 40 individuals have been honoured, including five earlier this year.
This year’s recipients are Vladimir Molokanov, general director of SMC-77, Maxim Svetlov, head of Sergeyevskoye Agrofirm, and Kamil Khafizov, director of KDT. They join previous awardees such as Andrey Klychkov, Vladimir Busygin, and Sergey Karabanov.
The selection process focuses on business leaders who actively support workforce training, economic development, and community initiatives. Their efforts are seen as key drivers of the region’s prosperity.
The latest awards bring the total number of honoured entrepreneurs to 40 since the title’s introduction. Their work in investment, job creation, and regional promotion continues to strengthen Nizhny Novgorod’s economy. The distinction remains one of the highest recognitions for business excellence in the oblast.
