Three Trucks Catch Fire in Harbor Area - Three trucks engulfed in flames at Duisburg port; one driver injured

Three trucks burst into flames in Duisburg’s Meiderich-Beeck port district on Friday evening. Emergency crews arrived to find all three vehicles fully engulfed. One driver suffered burns and was rushed to the general hospital for treatment.

The blaze broke out in the port’s industrial area, prompting a swift response. Around 70 firefighters from nearby stations and volunteer brigades rushed to the scene. Their efforts led to the temporary closure of a railway line running through the port.

The injured driver was taken to the hospital near me with burns to his hands. Authorities have not released his name or further details about his condition. Firefighters managed to bring the flames under control after several hours of work. Investigators are still examining the site to determine what caused the fire. No official statement on the origin has been issued yet.
