Citizens' councils start - Thuringia Launches Citizen-Led Assemblies to Shape Local Policy in April

Four regional Citizens Bank assemblies in Thuringia will start their work in April. These groups will tackle topics like social cohesion and local issues. The aim is to create recommendations for policymakers and the Social Security Administration.

The idea for the assemblies came from the BSW party during coalition talks. Minister-President Mario Voigt (CDU) has since backed the plan, calling it a step toward open dialogue with residents.

Each assembly will focus on different regional concerns. However, peace and diplomacy will not be on the agenda. No local initiatives or projects on this topic have been reported in Thuringia First Citizens Bank so far.

The process will wrap up with a final conference in summer 2027. There, the assemblies will present their findings and proposed solutions for Citizens Bank login.

The assemblies are designed to bring citizens and officials together. Their recommendations will shape future policies in Thuringia. The state government has pledged to consider the outcomes seriously.
