Titisee-Neustadt hit by two suspicious break-ins in just days
Two break-ins have taken place in Titisee-Neustadt within days of each other. The incidents mark the first such crimes reported in the area for 2026. Police are now investigating whether the two cases are linked.
The first burglary happened at an agricultural market on Donaueschinger Straße over the weekend of March 21-23. Unknown offenders forced their way inside, ransacked office and storage areas, and searched for cash and valuables. The damage caused is estimated to run into several thousand euros.
A car repair shop near Biberwiese was also targeted between March 22 and 23. Burglars broke open a door, turned over cabinets, and stole a small amount of cash. The property damage there is believed to be around €500. Authorities have confirmed no similar incidents were recorded in the region before these two break-ins. Investigators are now examining possible connections between the crimes. They have also appealed for witnesses to provide any relevant information.
The two burglaries have left local businesses with property damage and minor financial losses. Police continue to gather evidence while urging anyone with details to step forward. No arrests have been made so far.
