TMV Marks 125th Anniversary, Renews Berlin Economic Summer Partnership

The Taxi and Rental Car Association (TMV) marked its 125th anniversary and renewed its partnership with the Berlin Economic Summer. The event, held at the Berlin Zoo, saw prominent figures from the industry and politics, including His Excellency Mr. Mandakhbileg Biraa, Ambassador of Mongolia, as the guest of honor.

TMV General Manager Patrick Meinhardt and Office Manager Nico Höttges represented the association at the event. They were joined by Berlin Taxi Association Chairman Leszek Nadolski and Attorney Mariusz Kramer, who showed their support for TMV. The group advocated for the taxi and rental car sector, with the role of KOBI in economic and mobility policy being a key topic of discussion.

The event also celebrated TMV's active role in the industry. Tino Barth, IWR and Alliance Management Board Chairman, presented the 'Taxi Hero' award to TMV in recognition of their efforts. The association's motto, 'Do, Make, Connect', was prominently displayed throughout the event. The clear delimitation of car services outside the law in Berlin was also discussed among attendees.

The Berlin Economic Summer provided a platform for TMV to celebrate its anniversary and advocate for the taxi and car sector. With the support of industry leaders and prominent figures, TMV looks forward to continuing its role in shaping mobility policy in Germany, under the leadership of its current president, Thomas Kroker.
