Tokayev Warmly Welcomed at the Office of Japan's Prime Minister
Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited Japan’s Prime Minister’s Office in a formal ceremony. The event included a guard of honour and the playing of both national anthems to mark the occasion.
Upon arrival, a guard of honour stood ready as Tokayev entered the Prime Minister’s Office. The commander of the guard delivered a report before the ceremony proceeded.
The national anthems of Kazakhstan and Japan were played in turn. Afterward, Tokayev and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi introduced their respective official delegations to each other. Details about the chairman of Tokayev’s delegation remain unavailable.
